Bio
With more than four years of experience coaching quarterbacks and defensive backs, as well as overseeing football operations and strength and conditioning, Coach Marshall brings a dynamic blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for athlete development to WAU Athletics.
Coach Marshall is the founder of ZoSpeed Athletic Training, where he specializes in performance development for athletes ages 4–18. Through personalized training programs focused on speed, agility, quickness, and strength, he has helped countless young athletes reach the next level in their athletic journey. His experience also includes hosting successful combines, football clinics, and camps designed to enhance player performance and exposure.
From 2010 to 2014, Coach Marshall served as Quarterbacks and Defensive Backs Coach, Director of Football Operations, and Assistant Strength Coach at Fork Union Military Academy. There, he played a key role in player development, game preparation, recruiting, and managing day-to-day team operations—laying a strong foundation for student-athletes pursuing collegiate football careers.
A proud graduate of Bowie State University, Coach Marshall holds a B.A. in Psychology and is a certified NSPA Conditioning Specialist. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, development, and building a strong team culture rooted in accountability and excellence—values that align seamlessly with the mission and vision of Washington Adventist University.
As WAU launches its Women’s Flag Football program, Coach Marshall’s leadership marks an exciting new chapter.
