LAWRENCE, KS — The WAU men's cross country team finished their final 8k race at the Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship at Billy Mills Course in Lawrence, KS, Friday morning, November 3, 2023. Yesterday's race marks the second back-to-back appearance at the conference championship meet in program history.

The Shock finished 6th place out of six teams, with a total score of 168. Freshman Reuben Kirkham finished 37th with a time of 33:433.6, senior Gabriel Sanchez finished 39th with a time of 34:00.0, senior Suriel Belleza finished 42nd with a time of 34:43.9, freshman Pedro de Melo finished 48th with a time of 38:35.1, and senior Tafara Madhovi finished 53rd with a time of 51:43.9.
