Accomplishing a record-winning season with a stellar 10-4-2 record (.688 Win %), the Shock are soaring to new heights guided by their diverse roster comprised of eleven different nationalities. Beyond their historic journey, the team also shattered records by netting an impressive 77 goals during this unforgettable season.

The Shock's momentous achievement marks a major turning point for WAU. Led by head coach Daniel Carroll, who has skillfully built a formidable team in his second year, the players' resilience and continued pursuit of greatness have finally paid off.

Athletic Director Jered Lyons expressed his pride, stating, "Coach Carroll was a home run hire for us. It's rare to get someone of his talent and caliber. He has an incredible work ethic, and his team has naturally taken on that quality. The guys are clearly playing for each other, and when that happens, anything can happen!"

Goal-scoring maestro George Tidmarsh, who boasts an impressive thirteen goals this season, has consistently led the attack, terrorizing defenses with his blistering pace and clinical finishing while achieving the first 2023 CAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Furthermore, Aidan Hidassy, a composed and creative playmaker, has orchestrated countless goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates throughout the campaign. His exceptional vision and precise passing have been instrumental in the Shock's offensive surge.

Defensively, the team is anchored by goalkeeper Gregorio Capponi, a steadfast presence between the posts. Capponi has been recognized twice as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week and recorded 43 saves this season.
