WAU's Isabela Lujan-Gonzales Named CAC Offensive Player of the Week
TAKOMA PARK, MD – Washington Adventist University standout Isabela Lujan-Gonzales has earned the Continental Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award for her stellar performances in two victories last week. The junior guard showcased her scoring prowess, averaging 25 points and 3.5 assists per game to help lead the Shock to back-to-back wins.
Lujan-Gonzales, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, was instrumental in WAU's 77-69 victory over Morris College on Friday. She showcased her efficiency at the free-throw line, making 11 of 12 attempts, and connected on four shots from beyond the arc. Her composure and accuracy were critical in closing out the tightly contested matchup.

Lujan-Gonzales continued her offensive dominance in an 80-73 overtime triumph against Spartanburg Methodist College. She scored another 25 points, going 11-for-22 from the field, and made key baskets during clutch moments that helped propel the Shock to victory.
Lujan-Gonzales' ability to score efficiently and create opportunities for her teammates has made her an offensive catalyst for WAU this season. Her recognition as CAC Offensive Player of the Week highlights her contributions and leadership as the Shock aims for continued success in conference play.
